I am currently recruiting for an Aerospace manufacturer company in Bedfordshire who through expansion is now seeking an experienced engineer who can work with the Electrical Certification of schematics. This role will work very closely with the Electrical Design Engineering team and with other Certification Engineers too.

The appointed Certification Engineer will ensure that company design is certified to EASA or FAA regulations and satisfies the contract specification.

Main responsibilities: -

• Generating and certification of Wiring diagrams including: Electrical Load Analysis, Electrical panel assembly and detailed metalwork, Grounding and Bonding Analysis and FMEA
• Supporting any problem solving during the manufacturing build process and functional testing and any additional customer support
• Participating in design reviews throughout each phase of the NPI process
• Supporting the selection and application of components appropriate for design
• Preparation of schemes and provision of technical support for test programmes
• Analyse test results and report findings
• Provide \’support to production\’ services including the investigation of queries raised through Design Query Notes and Non-Conformity Reports, production permits and concessions and any other issues where the production time scales could be affected
