A leading manufacturer and maintenance company within the aerospace industry currently requires of an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer the successful Design Engineer will be part of the design process handling projects from cradle to grave including; proposal, design development / for manufacture, installation and certification.

To achieve these aims you will be responsible for producing detailed drawings, assembly drawings, parts lists etc, and liaise with customers.

Suitable candidates will be degree qualified in mechanical / aerospace / design engineer and have recent aerospace / aviation experience encompassing airframe and mechanical structures, 3D CAD modelling experience ideally Catia V5.
