Job title: Principal Power Electronic Design Engineer
Salary/Rate: £30,000-£50,000 + benefits

A leading F1/Motorsport manufacturer currently require the services of a Principal Design Engineer in Power Electronics.
The successful power electronics design engineer will be responsible for the design, development and testing of electronic circuitry and all relevant software.
Day to day responsibilities:
• Specification and selection of electronic components.
• Design and development of power electronic circuitry.
• Electronic circuit simulation and analysis
• Testing and evaluation of electronic components
• Preparation and design validation documentation
Applicants will ideally have:
• Experience in power electronics, including Medium to high power/voltage DC-DC converter design
• Medium to high power/voltage inverter design
• Use of circuit design software to produce electronic circuit schematics and PCB layout
• Experience in embedded software programming using C/ C++ and assembler
• Familiar with MATLAB / SIMULINK
• Experience of hybrid and electric vehicle technologies
