Job title: Instrumentation Engineer.
Salary/Rate: 25-35k
Area: North East.
My client an award winning developer of semiconductor materials and advanced technology products is looking for an instrumentation engineer to join their expanding team in the North East.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in an instrumentation or electronics engineering discipline with experience of working with low level analogue electronics and low level measurement instrumentation.
Key Requirements.
• Degree in instrumentation or electronics engineering or a minimum of two years relevant work experience.
• Low level analogue electronics and measurement instrumentation experience.
• Electronics and PCB design.
• Programming for instrumentation and control.
• Experience of working with radiation detection is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities.
• Design and setup of experiments.
• Customisation of existing and design/build of new instrumentation.
• First line maintenance and fault finding of measurement equipment.
In summary the successful candidate will have experience of performing the above responsibilities/requirements and will possess a degree in an instrumentation or electronics engineering discipline with experience of working with low level analogue electronics and low level measurement instrumentation.
