A leading designer and manufacturer of a high volume electronic product currently require the services of an experienced Lead Engineer on a permanent basis. `
The successful Lead Engineer will be responsible for taking the technical lead for a range of gas detector products, work closely with Programme Manager to deliver products on time and within budget. Identify profitable applications of technology through innovative design and lead formal design reviews and assist other design engineers, report directly to the technical director.
Suitable candidates will be educated to a minimum of HNC level is electronics and have strong senior design experience encompassing; analogue and digital hardware design, analogue design of power suppliers.
The ability to programme microcontrollers in C and have strong knowledge of gas detection equipment ideally electro-chemical.
