Project Engineer
Salary of £35,000 - £45,000 on experience pro rata

Fixed term contract (6 minimum)
I am currently recruiting for a manufacturing company in Bedfordshire that operates within a clean environment. You will be responsible for the planning, design specification and installation of new company instrumentation / equipment / machinery which will be in line with the manufacturing processes of their site.
Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager and based on their site in Bedfordshire, you will be responsible for: -
• Managing and taking ownership for simultaneous projects
• The design and specification of instrumentation / equipment / machinery and then the supervision of its installation and any other clean room improvements as required
• Ensuring that investigations are carried out in a professional and thorough manner according to H&S regulations prior to installation
• Undertake all the costing for individual projects
Minimum background to be considered: -
• HNC but ideally HND or Degree educated in an engineering or technical subject
• 3 years practical work experience in a project engineering / managerial role where you have been overseeing instrumentation / equipment / machinery design projects from concept through to completion
• Competent with MS Project, Microsoft Office and 3D modelling software packages
