My client a worldwide technology design and manufacturing company based in Cambridgeshire is looking to recruit a Software Engineer due to expansion of their UK site.
Candidate must possess at minimum a degree in a physical science or engineering discipline with at least 5 years industry experience of developing control systems with PC based software interfaces and be proficient with the following requirements.
Key Requirements
• Degree in a physical science or engineering discipline.
• Development of PC based interfaces for control systems.
• Extensive C++ experience.
• Experience of Activ X and .NET controls.
• Object oriented programming experience.
• Ability to use VB 6, VB.Net, C# and labview.
• Embedded programming in C.
• Photonics industry experience.
• Development of high accuracy motion control solutions.
In summary the ideal candidate will have a background in the photonics industry, posses a degree in a physical science or engineering discipline, experience of working in the photonics industry designing PC software based control systems and have experience of the above requirements.
