We have an exciting new vacancy for an experienced Engineering Manager who will be responsible for the Engineering team on site. This will be an integral part of the Senior Management team bringing together a team of multi-skilled maintenance engineers to oversee machinery / equipment maintenance and facilities in the manufacturing and warehousing sections.

Minimum background: -

• Experienced Engineering Manager overseeing maintenance and facilities within a FMCG manufacturing environment
• Excellent man manager who is capable of motivating staff and leading cultural changes within an organisation
• Handled a large engineering budget for staff / spares etc
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing facility
• Ensured all environmental and health and safety procedures are adhered to

You will be responsible for a team of 16 engineers, handling a budget of £1,000,000, the provision of CAPEX reports and delivering operational engineering reports and set kpi’s.

This organisation operates a large manufacturing facility with modern technology and process controlled machinery. Candidates with ambition, proven solid career progression within a similar role, who have worked for a large corporate manufacturer where there is a high demand in efficiency, H&S and engineering capability are encouraged to apply for this role.

We have an exciting new vacancy for an Engineering Manager reporting to the Head of Manufacturing and responsible for the Engineering teams across two manufacturing sites. The role is an integral part of the Senior Management team aligning the Engineering teams to support operation functions and working towards the overall manufacturing vision.

Engineering dovetails with production and quality whilst working closely with all other areas of the business. This role leads the teams within a safety 1st culture, supporting the achievement of operational performance. This is delivered through a team who are engaged and take ownership.

Suitable candidates will have excellent man management experience capable of motivating staff and leading cultural change management. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives whilst ensuring Environmental and health and safety procedures are effective and adhered to.

You will be responsible for 20 engineers, a budget of £1 million, the provision of CAPEX reports and delivering operational engineering reports and set kpi’s.

Our client operates two large manufacturing facilities with modern high end technology and process controlled machinery. Candidates with ambition and a proven solid career progression within a similar environment who have worked for a large corporate manufacturer where there is a high demand in efficiency, H&S and engineering capability would have a distinct advantage towards this position.
