A successful, high volume manufacturer of electro-mechanical equipment is now seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their expanding team.
The commercial manager will be responsible for the daily management of the customer service team and developing business processes.
You will be responsible for providing customers with various information including quotes, price lists etc., processing customer complaints, managing credit requests. You will be involved in monitoring and improving admin processes within the sales function, developing procedures and systems to meet the changing customer requirements.
In addition, the Commercial Manager is responsible for providing commercial support to tenders, negotiating customer contracts and frameworks, providing forecast data to support business plans, reporting on key account KPIs.
Your managerial duties would include management reporting, conduct team meetings, carry out personnel performance appraisals and disciplinary interviews where required.
The successful Commercial Manager will have a sales and commercial process qualification, some knowledge of commercial law, a strong sales administration background and strong communication skills. Candidates with a background in the utilities industry will be at a distinct advantage.
