£35,000 - £40,000 + vehicle + benefits
East Midlands

I am currently recruiting for a manufacturer of special purpose dosing machinery and equipment which are used in the food manufacturing sectors, especially within the bakery sector.

This is a Field based role but ideally you will live in the East Midlands due to the offering of nationwide field service cover and the location of your existing engineers.

Main responsibilities: -
• Managing the workload of a team of 5 Field based dual-skilled engineers on a daily basis and sub contractors
• Departmental budget i.e. spare parts and training
• Oversee a variety of projects including: design, manufacturing build, installation and commissioning
• Oversee the health & safety of service and break and the associated paperwork
• Maintain documentation and records for service and breakdowns
• Carrying out hands on service / breakdown work where needed

Minimum background: -
• Previously managed a team of Field Service Engineers
• Come from a field service engineering background and be very hands on
• Have project management experience
• Knowledge of electrical control panels and fabrication
• Strong Engineering background – ideally within food manufacturing machinery and associated equipment
