My client is a leading F1 manufacturer who is currently seeking a Pattern Maker or potentially a highly skilled Tool Maker with composites experience, ideally coming from a F1, Motorsport or automotive background.
The successful Pattern makers job purpose would be to create and finish patterns to a high standard and also repair or modify existing patterns & moulds.
The successful Pattern Maker/ Tool maker responsibilities:
• To create/finish patterns to a very high standard
• Blocking up patterns as per requirements
• Repair/modify existing patterns & moulds
• Create jigs and fixtures by hand
• Assist Cell leaders and engineers with any tooling or material matters
• Ensure on time delivery
• Ensure quality of patterns and tools are to the standard required
• Work within a team environment with minimum supervision
• checking the item\’s dimensions with precision measuring instruments like micrometers and gauges
