A leading designer and manufacturer of equipment for the medical, industrial and aerospace sectors currently require the services of an experienced Product Engineer on a 6 Month contract.
The successful Product Engineer will be responsible for acting as the interface between R&D, manufacturing, QA, and supply chain for the transfer of new or modified products from R&D into manufacturing. Projects will involve cost reductions or performance improvements.
Suitable candidates will be degree qualified and have strong knowledge of medium to high volume manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing and project management experience from the plastic moulding / extrusion or packaging development environment.
