A leading designer and manufacturer of process equipment are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to maintain, lead and develop their production and stores function to ensure client expectations are surpassed.
The successful Production Manager will be responsible for managing a large multi-skilled team (50+) encompassing welders, fabricators, and assemblers.
The role will include; leading the companies H&S policy to ensure a safe working environment, plan / manage labour so project deadlines are achieved, monitor production budget, and develop processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Other responsibilities will include developing quality management systems, employee development plans to meet the company’s future business needs and implementing the latest lean manufacturing techniques.
Suitable candidates will either be apprentice trained and have worked their way up from the shop floor or be HND / degree qualified and have strong production management experience. It is essential that you have managed large multi-skilled teams.
