A leading aerospace manufacturer is currently seeking an additional project engineer to assist the current team in the development and completion of some recently won lucrative projects.
The successful project engineer will be responsible for liaising with customers, producing and providing quotes for machined parts and assemblies. You will also be responsible for developing a manufacturing process relevant to each project, creating bills of materials and manage the NPI process.
The project engineer will also assist in planning budgets and spend on tooling and materials for each job, ensuring that suppliers are providing the best quality and value; where necessary sourcing and exploring new suppliers.
Applicants will require experience in a similar role, ideally within aerospace or automotive manufacturing and hold relevant engineering qualifications.
