GMP Senior Facilities Maintenance Engineer

Summary: Do you have experience in carrying out planned preventive and reactive maintenance of all facilities, building services and utilities in line with the maintenance strategy and plans within a GMP environment?

Description: GMP Senior Facilities Maintenance Engineer - Shift, but no nights!
Working for a leading Cambridge based GMP company

Carrying out planned preventive and reactive maintenance of all facilities, building services and utilities in line with the maintenance strategy and plans.

Standard working hours are 07:30 - 18:30 and follows a "3 and 2" shift pattern which you may be familiar with? This shift operates on a rotating 4 week pattern, Monday to Sunday, as follows:

*2 On, 2 off, 3 on
*2 Off, 2 on, 3 off
*2 On, 2 off, 3 on
*2 Off, 2 on, 3 off

This pattern will then repeat indefinitely. You will receive a one hour unpaid break each day which makes your normal hours to only be 35 hours per week!

Key Responsibilities:
1.Carry out planned preventative and also reactive maintenance, complete work orders and providing accurate documentation and the relevant feedback
2.The daily monitoring of utilities and building services including sampling and testing
3.To ensure all maintenance activities are consistent with Safety, GMP and other regulatory requirements
4.Manage outside Contractors in accordance with Company policies and procedures
5.Provide information on the condition and status of equipment to enable better monitoring of performance
6.Use RCA to support investigations on anything facilities or utilities related and providing written feedback to inform the maintenance strategy
7.Undertake Continuous Improvement projects

Key Competencies:
*You will need a thorough and in-depth knowledge of building services, facilities and utilities within a GMP environment
*Understand documentation relating to maintenance activities
*Know the regulatory requirements of GMP which relates to equipment, controls and the environment of which these products are manufactured in
*Work well within an engineering team with other engineers
*Use various problem solving tools and techniques to identify problems and find solutions
