Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer who has been responsible for a CMMS and wants to move off a shift pattern into a role which is working 8:30 - 16:30 Monday to Friday?!
If so then this could be your lucky day as a major Cambridge based GMP organisation is continuing to grow their UK operation with a live requirement for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join their Engineering team in house.

In this role you will produce plans for all planned maintenance (PPM) activities including the determination of the labour and the material resources and time required for all planned maintenance jobs.
Main Responsibilities: -
*Provide an overall plan for future works and a central source of information concerning maintenance work, equipment, materials and equipment repairs
*Plan maintenance activities and schedule maintenance resources to maximise asset up-time at optimum the associated maintenance costs
*Monitor Maintenance performance against plans and produce reports in accordance
*Determine and optimise the labour and material resources needed and time required to complete each job
*Review maintenance priorities and monitor, track and report performance
*Ensure internal stakeholders understand the maintenance planning strategies and obtain feedback on impact and performance
*Write new and amend existing SOP's relating to the CMMS and Engineering Maintenance as required
*Ensure that the CMMS is fully utilised and that relevant input is in accordance with system requirements and maintenance strategies
*Carry out training on maintenance systems including the CMMS
Background I am seeking in you:
*Be a qualified Engineer
*Knowledge of appropriate Maintenance Planning tools including a CMMS, data collection systems and Risk based maintenance approaches
*Detailed knowledge of a CMMS (ideally Maximo), and its functionalities and capabilities (i.e. Super user)
*Be able to work with people to identify problems and solutions and support change
*Make decisions based on facts and undertake the detailed analysis to understand operational impacts on maintenance schedules
*Communicate with all areas of the organisation that could and will be affected by the maintenance operation to explain maintenance plans and to get their buy-in
*Engage with all internal stakeholders to understand internal requirements and influence thinking on strategic maintenance planning
*A thorough understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling, spares materials management, asset management tools and techniques
*Worked in a suitable manufacturing transferable environment i.e. Pharmaceutical, Food, Distillery, Brewery, Automation, Chemical
