An exciting opportunity has arisen within their Engineering Team for an experienced Engineer to join them as a Mechanical Fitter. This role will require the general maintenance and repair of a wide range of capital equipment and machinery.
Main Responsibilities: -
* As an experienced Engineer you will take complete responsibility for the initial inspection, disassembly, specification of purchased parts, complete rebuild and then the final test of machinery, pressure vessels and power plant ancillary equipment.
Your background: -
* A Mechanical Engineering qualification
* Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy industrial process equipment
* Your knowledge should stretch to: pumps, electric motors, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatics, turbines and mechanical handling systems.
Salary is negotiable on experience up to £26,000 pa + paid overtime and good additional benefits
