Suitable candidates will have a general knowledge of a range of different software and IT networking protocols including supporting of the VOIP phone system, networking of PC’s, Printers etc, making changes of their website in WordPress and general HTML etc.

This role may suit a IT technical support engineer or an IT graduate working in a similar role looking to take their next career move.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain websites
Support changes of company website built with WordPress
Support site - general HTML
Maintain Software DEV Tracker with Developer to manage bugs and R&D on a Google Docs Sheet


Support
Good manner with customers
Familiarity with computer admin rights for printer and software installation and root folder access
Familiarity with many printer types and genres
Issue licences and deal with licensing issues
Access and use licence database on Update site
Liaise with developer regarding bugs affecting customers
Eliminate configuration and target system issues, conferring with developer when necessary
Maintain Software DEV Tracker with Developer to manage bugs and R&D


Maintain Templates
Use the template editor to edit and create new templates
Understand custom XML
Able to read, edit and create browser layout definition files
Liaise with developer on any new customisation requirements


Provide bridge between business and software R&D
Software Alpha and Beta testing from early implementation of new features through to release
Maintain Software DEV Tracker with Developer to manage bugs and R&D
Some knowledge of what programming entails if not knowledge of some language(s)
Collaborate with developer on integration context sensitive help index definitions
Understand custom XML
Able to read, edit and create browser layout definition files
Liaise with developer on any new customisation requirements
Communicate perceived customer requirements for R&D consideration, filtering "one use" cases


Maintain help file
Help and manual
Help Videos
Collaborate with developer on context sensitive help index definition integration


General
Network Admin
VOIP system
Outlook / Exchange email / Skype
On-site support function - mobility
Remote system support
ISO 9001/ Record keeping and reporting
