Salary £30,000 - £33,000 including 25 days holiday, company pension and Private Healthcare (After Qualifying period)
Location - Bedfordshire

Our client is looking for someone with a can do attitude who is self motivated and has excellent communication skills.

As a Shift Manager you will lead a team of 15-20 production operatives and be responsible for their Health and Safety, staff management, conducting investigation and Disciplinary, staff training, and have a very clear understanding of risk and COSHH assessments and ensure these are adhered to.
Our client manufactures products for the Construction Industry so someone with a understanding of technical manufacturing is essential.

Suitable candidates must –
• Have experience of dealing with Staff Health and Safety and SOPS, Risk and COSHH assessments.
• Experience of working within a Technical production environment and documenting Quality standards
• Be able to conduct Staff training, meetings and investigations when necessary
• Have the ability to identify training needs of your team and manage their progression.


In addition the ideal candidate will ideally be trained to or working towards ILM3 Certificate, Possess good PC, numeracy and communication skills.
Our client is looking for someone with excellent attention to detail and be driven to achieve results.

Working hours are on a shift basis, 3 shifts; Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm and 10pm – 6am. The night shift can be anything from 2 weeks to 2 months, this is agreed between other shift man

When on night shift 33% uplift is paid.
