Key Requirements
• Educated to degree standard (or equivalent professional qualification).
• Lean/six sigma experience/qualification.
• Technical knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing quality standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of GMP standards and Health and Safety.
• Experience of managing an operational team within a pressured environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence and ability to influence others.
• Good organisational and planning skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
• To effectively manage the Granulation and Dispensary staff comprising of Shift Co-ordinators, Advanced Technicians, Technicians and Operators.
• Through the Shift Co-ordinators ensure an effective handover between double day shift and the night shift team.
• Prepare annual training requirements and planned implementation.
• Liaise closely with the Occupational Health departments to ensure any actions are implemented.
• To produce weekly performance report and analyse this to produce action plans to recommend improvements.
• To liaise and agree weekly production plan with Supply Chain.
The successful candidate will have experience in Granulation and Dispensary manufacturing within the Pharmaceutical or Chemicals industry.
