Job title: Operations Director (Microbiology Lab)
Salary/Rate: 50-60k plus £500p/m car allowance.

My client a contract research organisation is looking for an Operations Director to oversee the activities of all departments of their Microbiology Lab in the East Midlands.
The successful candidate will have at least a Bsc in Microbiology or relevant discipline and have good experience of high level management in a laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities.
• Management responsibility for several heads of department.
• Insurance of the smooth operation of all departments of the laboratory.
• Conducting regular meetings with heads of department to insure all departments are working efficiently together.
• Informing the Managing Director of any issues which require his attention.
• Implementation of the quality management system.
Key Requirements.
• Extensive line management and previous senior management experience.
• At least a Bsc in Microbiology or a relevant discipline.
