Semiconductor R+D Engineer

Job title: Semiconductor R+D Engineers/Technologists.

Salary/Rate: Grads £20-25000, Industry Experience £30-40,000.

Area: Midlands.

My client a major semiconductor development company based in the midlands is currently looking to add a number of talented R+D Engineers to their expanding team.

The client will consider fresh graduates who have completed research projects with semiconductor or silicon technology or industry experienced Engineers/Technologists who will be paid according to their experience.

Ideally candidates should possess a degree in a related scientific or engineering discipline like physics, materials science or electronics with the ability to analyse and present complex data to a diverse audience.

The successful candidates will be responsible for driving research into improving the efficiency and control of electrical energy of the companies semiconductor technology used in a wide variety of industries. Candidates will fall into one of three disciplines IGBT design, wafer fabrication process or Bipolar R+D.
