My client based in Cambridgeshire is currently looking to recruit a Systems Engineer with a background in the development of scientific and optical equipment. This is due to the current employee progressing to a higher position in the company.
The ideal candidate will come from a similar scientific engineering or physics based systems development position. Ideally a PhD graduate with a background in Microscopy or Optical equipment.
The main purpose of the role will be to drive the development of new systems and the improvement and upgrading of existing systems. The role will involve acting as a technical liaison for other departments including; sales, maintenance, project management and others. The candidate will also be expected to maintain technical documentation and literature to a high standard.
