Job title: Systems Physicist.

Salary/Rate: 28-31k.

Area: Cambridgeshire.

My client a leading developer of high powered microscopy technology is currently seeking a systems physicist to join their expanding R+D department.

The ideal candidate will possess a masters and preferably a Phd in a physics or related engineering discipline, knowledge of high powered microscopy and will have experience and knowledge of the following-

• Design of low noise analogue electronics.
• Charged particle modelling techniques.
• Use of experimentation to validate theory.
• Knowledge of electron trajectories in magnetic fields.
• Use of scanning electron microscopes.
• Knowledge of materials science.
• Knowledge of electron-optics.

Key Responsibilities.

• Contribution to all stages of product development through generation of technical improvements and innovations based on customer requirements.
• Prepare research for the analysis of new technologies and materials for product development and innovations.
• Provide technical support to all internal departments and customers when required.

In summary the successful candidate will have industry experience of the above responsibilities a masters and preferably a Phd in a physics or relevant engineering discipline and knowledge of the design and development of high powered microscopy equipment.
