Are you a graduate in marketing or studies marketing with at least one year's experience within a relevant role looking to move to a company where you can make a difference to their branding.
If yes to the above you may be the right candidate for our client who is seeking a Marketing Assistant to be responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager with marketing activity for the company based in Hertfordshire.
Our client is the UK's leading manufacturer within their field providing selling and distributing machines used within the construction and telecoms industry.
They also export their products to EMEA, GCC and Australia working with direct customers and distributors.
Some of the duties you will be required to support the marketing manager will include:
*Connect with new customers -This is done through several platforms, including email marketing, social media etc.
*Maintain contact with old customers - Many Marketing Executives are eager to get the likes, comments and subscriptions up on their social media counts.
*Follow up once orders have been received, and asking for testimonials
*Web presence maintenance overseeing and updating the following social media sites: LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook
*Reviewing new technologies to keep the company ahead of developments in digital marketing.
*Using a wide range of overview techniques - such as paid search, SEO and PPC.
*Creating content including Press Releases, Blogs, Newsletters, Magazine Articles, Editorials and Adverts.
*Developing user interface, design and content on the website.
*Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website.
*Creating strategies to drive online searches towards the company website.
*Developing digital marketing campaigns.
*Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
*Production of case studies - Great for customer feedback
*Event management - Organising and attending exhibitions, creating marketing materials, preparation before, and follow up after the events.
*Event tracking - there are several sites that track events and awards that are relevant to specific industries.
